Enjoy an outdoor film from your car or a picnic blanket as darkness falls. Two evenings in September there will be Drive-In Film screenings at Wan\u00e5s. On Friday, September 11, there will be fast-paced action in the form of George Miller’s post-apocalyptic Mad Max: Fury Road<\/em>, and on Saturday, September 12, the family film Spirited Away<\/em> will be shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be a cinema kiosk with snacks and hot dogs! Payment via Swish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the film Spirited Away<\/em>, we get to follow Chihiro on a magical and breathtaking adventure! When she and her parents stop at a mysterious, abandoned rest area, everything changes when darkness falls. Suddenly, the place is filled with spirits \u2013 and Chihiro discovers that her parents have been transformed into pigs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the help of the enigmatic boy Haku, Chihiro must find the courage to navigate the magical world of spirits and break the curse before it’s too late.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spirited Away<\/em> is a beloved animation classic from Studio Ghibli that has been awarded an Oscar for Best Animated Film and the prestigious Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film screenings are free of charge and are made possible through the support of the Postcode Lottery Foundation, Film i Sk\u00e5ne, Sparbanken Sk\u00e5ne, and the Municipality of \u00d6stra G\u00f6inge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How:<\/strong> Free of charge. Limited parking spaces.

The sound for the film is played through speakers and via radio on the AM band. If you are worried that your car’s battery won’t last, we recommend bringing a portable radio.
