The artists Chiachio & Giannone make a guest appearance during Lappa och Laga in Folkets Park in Glimåkra. Join us and embroider together with the artists and contribute to our joint artwork.

In Chicachio & Giannone’s exhibition Fortune and Abundance, multilayered textile works featuring embroidery, patchwork, and quilting from their 20-year collaborative artistic practice are presented. Their process is methodical and meticulous, and a single composition can take several years to complete. In preparation for the 40th anniversary of Wanås Konst, the artist duo will create a new textile artwork together with Wanås visitors, neighbours and the local community. During May 2026, they aim to get to know Wanås, Skåne, and its textile traditions through a series of activities where people gather to embroider and talk.
