School Visit
Visit Wanås Konst for a day or make art an ongoing theme in a longer project. All programs are anchored in the school’s curriculum, and Wanås Konst has experience working with everything from individual classes to entire municipalities. The activities are always adapted to the group’s age and needs.
PRESCHOOL AGES 1-5
Explore the sculpture park together! Lilla Konstpodden, the Little Art Podcast, consists of seven inspiring episodes including art talks, games, and songs for little explorers. Let Lilla Konstpodden guide you through the sculpture park and discover some of the most beloved artworks at Wanås Konst. The podcast episodes were created by Micaela Gustafsson, a musician and songwriter who also created Bebispodden and Trotspodden for SR Children’s Radio. A smartphone is needed to listen to Lilla Konstpodden. For pre-booked visits, a media player, speaker, and map are included. Preschools will also receive a teacher’s guide prior to the visit.

CUSTOMIZED PRIMARY & SECONDARY SCHOOL
Tour + Art Workshop
Look, feel & listen! During a tour, you will experience the art in the sculpture park with Wanås Konst’s educator. How is art made? How do you interpret the artworks? Students are encouraged to use their own initiative to explore what they experience. The tour is combined with a workshop in which students explore color, form, and various artistic techniques together.

Tour
Experience the exhibitions with one of Wanås Konst’s knowledgeable guides. The tour includes both temporary exhibitions and parts of the permanent collection in the sculpture park. If you have special requests for artworks you don’t want to miss, feel free to specify them in the booking.

PRIMARY SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL
Tour
Look, feel & listen! During an art tour, you will experience the art in the park and buildings together with Wanås Konst’s educator. How is art made? How do you interpret the artworks? Students are encouraged to use their own initiative to explore what they see.
Duration: 1.5 hours

Tour + Art Workshop
All art workshops are inspired by the artists’ processes, thoughts, and materials. Together, the group explores various themes in art based on the artists’ ideas, methods, or material choices. The students get to try an artistic process and are encouraged to investigate and test their ideas. The workshop ends with a discussion where students are given the opportunity to reflect on their own and others’ work.

Farm visit
Wanås Estate is one of Northern Europe’s largest producers of organic milk. During a farm visit, the class will experience a modern dairy farm and learn about milk’s journey from cow to table.

Pre- or Post-Visit at the School
Would you like to dive deeper into contemporary art? Prepare for or follow up after your visit at Wanås Konst with a workshop at school. Wanås Konst’s educators conduct pre- and post-visits at schools where you can get ready for or continue processing the students’ experiences from Wanås. Together with Wanås Konst’s educators, you will be inspired by the sculpture park’s artists, try out techniques, and explore materials.
