Terms and Conditions

These purchase terms apply between Wanås Konst (company name: Stiftelsen Wanås Utställningar, organization number: 838201-7518) and you (hereinafter referred to as the customer) as a buyer of tickets and/or related goods. Stiftelsen Wanås Utställningar is responsible for sales and customer contact.

Customer obligations when ordering

As a customer, it is your duty to check that your shopping cart contains the correct items before completing your order. You must also provide accurate information to ensure the successful delivery of your order.

Personal information

The personal data you disclose is handled with respect and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR).

What personal data do we collect and for what purpose?

When selling tickets, memberships, and gift cards, we collect the following personal data:

  • First and last name
  • Postal address
  • Phone number
  • Email address

Purpose:

  • To manage purchases and delivery of tickets, gift cards, and memberships
  • To send booking confirmations and communicate regarding your order
  • To process payments

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request the deletion of your data (“the right to be forgotten”)
  • Your personal data is stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the above purposes or as required by law.

Payments

Payments for tickets are made through a third-party payment service provider. Your card is charged at the time of purchase, and the funds are withdrawn immediately. Your use of the payment service and the personal data you provide in connection with your payment are governed by the payment service provider’s privacy policy and general terms and conditions. For payment-related inquiries, please contact the payment service provider first.

Prices

All listed prices include VAT. The currency is Swedish kronor.

Prices are subject to increases, VAT adjustments, printing errors, pricing errors, clearance sales, stock errors, etc. A ticket or item already sent to you will not be affected by any price changes occurring after the order date, such as sales, promotions, discount codes, or price adjustments.

Delivery and delivery time

Your ticket, gift card, or membership confirmation will be delivered to you either:

  • Digitally to the provided email address immediately upon purchase
  • Or to the postal address provided at the time of purchase for an additional postage fee. The postage fee and delivery time are determined by Postnord, the service provider for home delivery.

Right of withdrawal/purchases upon approval

Conditions vary depending on the item purchased.

Tickets

A lost ticket cannot be redeemed. The provisions of the Distance Selling Act regarding cancellation rights do not apply to the purchase of event tickets. Consequently, you are bound by your purchase once payment has been made. When purchasing tickets, you may customize your experience by adding extra features (e.g., bus tickets, options, etc.) for certain events. Your selections and additions are part of your ticket purchase and are subject to the rules for ticket purchases.

Cancelled event/refunds

You are responsible for checking whether an event has been canceled or rescheduled. If an event is canceled, you should contact Wanås Konst regarding any ticket refund inquiries. In some cases, Wanås Konst will refund tickets for the scheduled event. Any postage or other fees paid in connection with the ticket purchase will not be refunded after a canceled event.

If you believe your tickets should be refunded, you must notify Wanås Konst of your refund request within two (2) months of the event date/the date the event was scheduled to take place. If not, no refund will be issued.

Membership

When purchasing a membership online, you have the right to a 14-day withdrawal period under the Distance Selling Act, Distansavtalslagen. The withdrawal period applies from the day after the contract has been concluded, provided that the services have not started being used.

Gift Cards

When purchasing a gift card online, you have the right to a 14-day withdrawal period under the Distance Selling Act, Distansavtalslagen.

Extraordinary circumstances

If an event must be canceled due to extraordinary circumstances (storm, fire, war, pandemic, terrorism, floods, etc.), Wanås Konst reserves the right to retain half of the purchase price.

Force majeure

We consider ourselves exempt from fulfilling our obligations under these terms in the event of changes in legislation, government actions, labor market conflicts, fires, storms, floods, war, terrorism, hacking, major accidents, or similar events.

4. Information to Specific Stakeholders (Patrons, Wanås Art Club, VIP Contacts)

Purpose

To provide information about our activities to specific stakeholders. Processing is necessary to deliver newsletters, press releases, and other mailings to those who have voluntarily subscribed. If the data is not provided or withdrawn, we can no longer send mailings to the recipient.

Images and video recordings of artists, curators, exhibition staff, and, where applicable, the audience. These will be used on the museum’s official communication channels such as the website, mailings, and social media.

6. Making Collections/Exhibitions Accessible

  • Correspondence with architects, designers, artists, institutions, donors, sellers, and lenders.
  • Collecting company and personal data for those handling transportation and management of the artworks.

8. Event Participation

Purpose

To organize and manage participation in events/press previews. Processing is necessary to conduct these events.

In addition to the data you provide to us or that we collect from you based on your purchases, we may also collect personal data during documentation of our activities and events. The collected data includes photographs, audio, and video recordings.

Who Do We Share Your Personal Data With?

Data processors

If necessary for providing our services, we share your personal data with companies that process data on our behalf, following our instructions.We also share personal data with companies that are independently responsible for their data processing, such as payment solution providers, newsletter services, and delivery companies.

We also share your personal information with certain companies that are independent data controllers. The fact that the company is an independent data controller means that we do not control how the information provided to the company is processed.

We always strive to process your personal data within the EU/EEA area and all of our own IT systems and the personal data processors we employ are located within the EU/EEA.

Right of access (so-called register extract)
